We have officially now made the move to Texas and Jake has began work at the Border Patrol Station in Alpine, Texas. I have been very impressed with the activities that are available for the kids. The Big Bend Museum, 4-H Cub Scouts, City Pool, Big Bend Cowboys baseball team, Balmorhea National Park have all provided lots for the us to do during the summer.
We are getting used to being away from Wal-Mart and Safeway :(
Overall, the move has been positive. We are still waiting for our Arizona house to sale so we can purchase one in Texas. In the meantime, we are thankful that we are able to stay with my husband's parents until we can find a more permanent home.

Baking Cookies with Blayne!
Blayne and I decided we needed soemthing sweet, so we baked lots and lots of chocolate chip cookies Saturday! Lots of fun, and really really good!
